"You got the wrong person."

This year I encountered a few people who met me in office and said, "I thought you went to that conference in Manila."

Or in another ocassion, I thought that the company sent you to that conference in US."

And I would deny it one by one and say, "No, it wasn't me. It was bla bla bla."

And eventually I kind of got sick of it. Denying stuff.

Until one day, the same question pops up,"Hey I thought you went to Montreal for that conference."

I just bluntly replied,"Ohhh was it an international conference? Ohhh if it was an international conference, definately not me. I think you got the wrong girl. I just go to local conferences or war torn countries. That's all. So yeah, you got the wrong person."
